Terra – the developer – purchased the property in 2013 at $65 million. In this place was the Howard Johnson Dezerland Hotel –formerly the Biltmore Terrace- owned by the Sunny Isles Beach developer Michael Dezer.

Terra has taken on this venture under the leadership of David Martin associated with designers Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure and WEST 8 Urban Design & Landscape Architecture. The high-end interior Paris style has been developed by RDAI furnishings from Hermes, Giorgetti and Christopher Delcourt.
